Leadership Retreat

About 4DL's Leadership Retreat

Individuals who occupy leadership roles understand well the nature of consistently operating in high-stakes environments where the ability to reflect and recharge is often elusive.

In order to sustain one’s emotional and physical capacity to do this work, it is imperative that reflection and recharging take center stage, offering the school leader the opportunity to increase the efficacy of their work and the longevity of their commitment.

The Leadership Retreat comprises a set of thoughtfully-designed, thematic experiences for decision-makers, available in both a 3-day and 5-day format. Themes include Welcoming Risk; Looking Back, Moving Forward; and Self+Systems+Strategies

During the Leadership Retreat, participants will:

Create a community of care where participants reflect on their journey as leaders of change
Deeply engage with other participants in equity scholarship through a dialogic model
Explore in a forum of bold ideas
Receive support and learn how to support others as leaders in accelerating the pace of systemic change
